SATURDAY NIGHT ON BOURBON STREET
PSFCOB'S ROAD TRIP TO NEW ORLEANS OCT 4-7 2002

The PSFCOB leads the Steelers nation from the 2nd floor balcony of Pat O'Briens overlooking Bourbon Street on Saturday night prior to the big game. It was an unforgettable time for the 120 fan club members who made the trip to New Orleans. From the great music on Bourbon Street, to the fantastic party put on by Pat O'Briens, to the unbelievable hospitality of the Hilton Hotel for our breakfast tailgate party on Sunday morning it was truly a Steelers weekend of dreams.

Although the PSFCOB magic was not quite enough to overcome the defensive problems of the Steelers on Sunday, as billed the fan club led the Steelers nation throughout the game and, just maybe, that magic is what is providing the extra boost for our improved play since that game.

Make no mistake about it, the PSFCOB has a score to settle in New Orleans and O'Briens has not served their last Jambalaya to the Steelers Fan Club of Baltimore. We will be back!!

WEBMASTERS NOTE - This unforgettable trip did not just happen. The member mostly responsible for this enjoyable trip was Jim Day. Jim came up with the idea for the trip and made it happen! He put together the outstanding trip/hotel/Saturday night party package and attended to every detail for the Saturday night party, Sunday morning tailgate brunch, the beer loaded bus trip to the Superdome and much more.

Myself, and all other PSFCOB members that made the trip, owe Jim a big THANK YOU for the FANtastic weekend trip to Bourbon Street.
