The Sports Page in Marley Station Mall, a must stop for all Steelers fans, now has a new owner. Jeremy Allen has taken over for Jeff and Julie Donahue and is looking to carry on the tradition started by Jeff and Julie by carrying every kind of Steelers merchandise imaginable.
Jeremy is celebrating his recent acquisition with a special offer to Fan Club members. In addition to still receiving 10% off all purchases for fan Club members, Jeremy has proclaimed Tuesdays during the season "Steeler Tuesday". Just visit The Sports Page on Tuesdays after a Steelers victory and get an additional 5% of your purchases in addition to the 10% discount you already enjoy as a member of the PSFCOB. That's a total of 15% and makes it well worth the drive for you members who don't live in the Glen Burnie area. The Sports Page is located on the first level of Marley Station Mall near Hecht's.
And ... don't forget to visit Pro Image up on the second level of the Mall near the elevators. Owner Rob Harnsberger also offers a 10% discount to FSFCOB members and likewise carries a wide array of Steelers clothing and assorted items.
With these two All Stars ready and waiting, there is no reason not to show your Black 'n Gold pride loud and clear.

Congratulations go to PSFCOB founder and ex-president Jim Day who retired on June 30, 2004. Jim will now be fishing, crabbing and doing the Bud draft thing full time along with his Carpet Cleaning business. Check out his web site at prokleencarpet.com.
Everyone knows what a great job the Terrible Bar does of dispensing cold draft beer to members at all of our events. You may have noticed lately that some of the tap handles were showing signs of extensive use and were in disrepair. After hundreds of gallons of tailgate party draft beer some were being held together with tape.
Paul McPheron, who is a regular at Shooters, came to the aid and handcrafted four beautiful black & gold Steelers tap handles. As you draw a beer at our events this year make sure to thank Paul for his expert work in restoring the Terrible Bar to it's original beauty and , more importantly, operational excellence.
Things are coming together very nicely for our annual pilgrimage up north to The City of Champions. At this time, approximately 75 ticket orders have been received.
Details for the Terrible Tailgate Party are still being finalized but we will probably be kicking that off around 10:00 AM on game day. This is a later start time than we're used to but with a 4:00 PM kick off, we won't be having any post game festivities (at the Tailgate Party at least). I'm sure there will be a bar stool available at The Clark Bar for after game celebrating.
As in years past, many people have indicated that they can find game tickets at a less expensive price than the Fan Club is asking. To those folks I say, go for it. The Fan Club does not have such a luxury based on the quantity of tickets that are ordered and the fact that the order is placed in late May or June, shortly after the schedule is released.
Based on what we have seen through the first three preseason games, this team has the look of a winner. The power running game appears to be back, Tommy Gun looks sharp and the young blood on defense looks like they are ready to put Dick LeBeau's schemes to work and make "Blitzburgh" a common term once again. If this year's opponents think they will be playing against last year's 6-10 squad, they are in for a big surprise.
With this being said, ticket prices are going nowhere but up and up. Except for the Fan Club tickets. These are set and will not change unless we need to try and order more tickets. Over the past few years, we have ordered additional tickets based on demand and have had to pay more than originally advertised on a few occasions. As such, for those of you who want to wait for that "best price", I caution you; don't wait too long. An on-line order form is available.
The enclosed order form will tell you all you need to know about the trip. The menus, for all club events in Miami, are now posted on-line.
Get your arrangements made and return the order form with your payment today. For those who have already ordered, you should have received you confirmation and you trip package will be mailed a couple week prior to the trip.
If you have any questions or need additional information about this great weekend e-mail them to miamitrip1@verizon.net or call Jim Day at 410-604-0750. See you on the beach.
