SARA ADAMS BENEFIT
Anyone who frequents The Purple Goose Saloon is familiar with the plight of Sara Adams. Sara is a 2 1/2 year girl suffering from a rare liver disease. She recently received part of her mother's liver to combat this illness and, although she is doing better, she is not out of the woods yet. A benefit Bull Roast was recently organized by Shelly and Goose Graham on May 23rd to help Sara's family cope with the tremendous financial strain. While the turnout was impressive, more help is still needed. Therefore, if you wish to help, please send any donations to:

CLUB NOTES
It's been a busy PSFCOB off-season from a maternity standpoint. With this in mind, congratulations to our newest fans:
*Taylor Lucy Stephen Born on 11/12/98 to PSFCOBers Greg and Lisa Stephen. Taylor will need every bit of her 10lb. 1 oz., 21 inch frame to withstand the adulations of older brother Josh.
*Joseph Thomas (J.T. for short) Bugliosi Born on 1/11/99 to Calgary Cattle Company cohabitants Linda & Joe Bugliosi. J.T. came in at a robust 7 lbs. 9 oz. and 21 inches long.
*Rooney Patrick Butler Born on 3/20/99 to Purple Goose Saloon stalwarts Bob and Dawn Butler. Rooney's dimensions were 9 lbs. 2 oz. on a 21 3/4 inch frame. In fact, the Butlers received a congratulatory note from none other than Dan Rooney of the Steelers. Get the name connection here?
*Thomas Michael Joyce Born on 4/25/99 to Kerry (Member #001) and Jennifer Joyce. Big Tom came in at 8lbs. 11oz. and 21 inches. (I think I see a trend here.) Proud daddy Kerry was heard to say "He's soooo cute." Oh yeah!
Best wishes to all the proud parents above from all of us in the PSFCOB. With "production" like this, our Club will continue to flourish for a long time to come.
From the "There's nothing a Steeler Fan won't do" Department: Congratulations to PSFCOBer Mark Britton for the award he recently received compliments of the Annapolis Fire Department. This was due to Mark's heroic efforts in saving a young girl from drowning after falling into Spa Creek back in January. Mark, you are truly the man!!!
I received this little yuk-yuk from a number of folks via e-mail and thought I'd pass it on to those who may not have heard it yet. Brett Favre, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Packers flag in the window. "This house is yours for eternity, Brett," said God. "This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here." Brett felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house. On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a Black and Gold sidewalk, 50 foot tall flagpole with an enormous Steelers logo flag, and in every window, a terrible towel. Brett looked at God and said "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I won the Super Bowl, and I even went to the Hall of Fame." God said "so what do you want to know, Brett?" "Well, why does Terry Bradshaw get a better house than me?" God chuckled and said "Brett, that's not Terry Bradshaw's house, it's mine."
