PSFOB WEBSITE Thanks to PSFCOBer Ed McConnell, our new website is up and running.
Check it out at:
http://get.to/psfcob
Within, you will find all kinds of information about the Club itself as well as numerous
links to other Steeler and Pittsburgh related sites.
Due to the fact that so many of our members are online, we would like to start a directory
of e-mail addresses. This would allow the Club to respond quickly and efficiently to any
inquiries our members may have and would also aid in getting the word out on upcoming events
and news.
I look forward to your thoughts of the website and welcome any and all comments or ideas
for improvement.
PSFCOB WEEKEND
Steelers vs Raisins
December 10-12
After last year's deviation from protocol, the PSFCOB will once again travel to the City of
Champions in the cold December weather. This year's opponent will be none other than
Baltimore's Raisins. The Gridiron Battle is set to take place on December 12, but as in years
past, the extravaganza actually runs the entire weekend.
We will once again be booking rooms at the Sheraton at Station Square and our now
legendary Saturday night bash at the Sheraton will rock the very foundation of the structure.
With a little luck, Sunday will dawn cool and crisp and the biggest tailgate party of the
day will kickoff what promises to be an exciting AFC Central showdown.
Unfortunately, the ugly inflation bug has bitten once again and game tickets will be priced at
$105 per ticket. This is due to the fact that the face value of the tickets has increased and
also because we are once again forced to utilize a ticket agency for the volume of tickets we
need. Even after a subpar 1998, the Steelers are still a hot ticket. The tailgate party on
game day will remain priced at $20 per person for a total package price of $125. If you have
attended any of the 7 previous annual trips, I'm sure you will agree, this weekend is well
worth it.
