THE BLACK AND GOLD POST

Once again, for the 11th consecutive year (I think), the PSFCOB will once again make the pilgrimage to the Mighty 'Burgh to watch our Super Steelers wreak havoc on some poor unsuspecting opponent. Unfortunately, plans have yet to be finalized as we are still awaiting ticket prices from our ticket agent. In the interest of helping our members plan accordingly, here are the details that we know of at this time:

* We will be attending either the December 8th game against the expansion Houston Texans or the December 15th contest against the Carolina Panthers.
* We will once again be staying at The Sheraton at Station Square.
* We will again be throwing the best damn Tailgate Party the city has ever seen at Reinhold Ice Cream Company a short walk from Heinz Field..

Some of the items still up in the air include:

* The Saturday Night Party. The Sheraton is unable to accommodate us with a banquet room on the weekend of the Houston game. This event is always a great way to get geared up for the festivities of game day so we are looking at other alternatives in the event we do attend this game.

* Will Steve and Beno and Jim still be able to test the limits of sleep deprivation and be able to function in some sort of coherent fashion. I guess we'll find out one way or the other.

Details will be finalized sometime in the very near future so stay tuned to the Fan Club website at psfcob.com for further information. For those of you who have yet to enter the computer age, the next edition of The Black and Gold Post will be out in late August with all the details and order form.
